Huajia Mandarin began with a simple idea: learning Chinese should go beyond textbooks and connect with the world around us. Rooted in Taiwan, Huajia brings together practical language, cultural stories, and everyday topics to help learners explore Mandarin through things that matter to them.
The Person Behind Huajia
Meet the Creator
Hi, I'm Vincent, the creator of Huajia Mandarin. Growing up in Taiwan and learning English myself, I came to realize that language becomes much more meaningful when it connects to real conversations and everyday experiences, rather than just textbook exercises.
When I started teaching Mandarin, I met learners from different countries, each with their own goals, interests, and challenges. Those conversations taught me that there is no single way to learn a language, and that curiosity can be just as important as practice.
That is what inspired me to create Huajia Mandarin: a place where learners can discover Chinese through practical guides, cultural perspectives, and topics they genuinely enjoy, even outside the classroom.
From Teaching to Huajia
Started Teaching Mandarin
Started teaching Mandarin online from Taiwan, connecting with learners from different backgrounds and discovering what makes language learning meaningful.
Teaching Across Platforms
Expanded to multiple teaching platforms, working with over 100 students with different goals, interests, and learning styles.
Broadening My Teaching Focus
Introduced exam preparation and business Chinese alongside everyday conversation, helping learners use Mandarin in academic, professional, and real-life situations.
Connecting with Learners Worldwide
Delivered over 1,600 personalized Mandarin lessons to more than 220 students from over 30 countries.
Launching Huajia Mandarin
Created Huajia Mandarin to share what I had learned through years of teaching, making practical Chinese, cultural stories, and learning resources accessible beyond one-to-one lessons.
